How's the present?
In the present day I barely have any time left to learn new skill because of school, job, chores, and lack of interest. Depise the
time constraint I am still able to squeeze in some spare time to work on keeping my skill up-to-date. Sleep deprivation is pretty much
a threat to game developer because I suffered from one. Plus it has become hard for me to try to finish any of my work nowaday no matter how
much I try to look at professional's work to be inspired. I really do wish I can finish all of my projects, I really do.
Learning anything at the moment? Future career?
I started and closed many personal and joint projects of mine. I did couple of non-profit freelance works for several FPS mods in the past. At the moment
I don't have any plan on joining the game industry anymore as I believe my true interest lie in the science and medical field. Hopefully it's not really
my final decision because I would truly love to work in a well-known game companies such as Valve, THQ, Relic, Pandemic, Maxis, etc.
Summary
The first few years of my life has been quite a miserable one but as time drift by slowly, life began to heals itself. Born on 1993 in the bustling city of Los Angeles, I was the first but only son of the family. Before my birth, my parents came from Thailand to settle along the West Coast area in search of a better life, job, and freedom.
How did your interest in computer started out?
I began to use computer at the age
of three or four but did not show any true interest in the computer technology until later on in life. My father gave me my first
Apple personal computer when I was still in first grade in an effort to get me an early start in understanding how computer work, the basic anyway.
Even though I tried to learn my interest in such an unknown device did not light up until a year later when my father built me my very own computer.
A Pentium III with probably at least 128MB of RAM and 30GB of diskspace running on Microsoft Window 98 Operating System.
From there my dad introduced me to the internet and many softwares. Everything from that point on were self-taught. Few years later I became interested in web design after my father showed me his real estate website. A year passed by, one of my online friend introduced me to map design which I began to take seriously few years later. Many years passed by, I unintentionally got into Photoshop because of my high demand for custom textures and nobody on the game community board has the skill to create them. Eventually I took interest in a professional image editing software because of the ability to manipulate picture and create anything your mind can think of.
